Gateway's Community Connections will be receiving two years of funding from a Health & Human Services and Centers for Disease Control & Prevention grant made to the Jefferson County Department of Health.  The funding will be used to provide services to local schools to reduce tobacco use in our community.  Gateway's grant writer, Susanna Cornett, was loaned to the Department of Public Health to write the $7 million grant, from which Gateway will receive more   than $430,000.
