  • FOCUS Supervisor(1)

    To provide case management supervision to ensure that the necessary therapeutic interventions are provided which meets the physical, mental and emotional needs of children and families served and to foster permanency. LGSW/ALC- LCSW/LPC required. Ability to manage flexibility in his/her work schedule. Ability to be available to Specialists on a 24 hour a day basis and will arrange coverage in his/her absence. Proficient with computers.  Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to lift a minimum of 20 lbs, restrain 100 lbs and drive for extensive periods. CPR, First Aid and MCS as required. Alabama Drivers’ license, good driving record and automobile insurance to meet agency standards.

  • Cottage Supervisor Evenings 3pm-11pm(2)

    To supervise Residential Life Staff and two residential cottages. To provide a therapeutic, secure, and healthy environment for clients. To help develop skills that builds self-esteem, self-confidence and positive peer relationship(s) in a therapeutic manner. Three years’ experience in a residential setting working with emotionally conflict children/teen. One year of supervisory experience preferred. Ability to lift and/or restrain clients weighting in excess of 100 pounds, sit, stand, talk, hear and reach. Alabama driver’s license and record acceptable to agency insurers. Ability to meet background check & health standards.

  • Clerk Typist I

    Provide clerical support to the Residential Program. Scanning documents, provide Medicaid status reports, checking eligibility on clients. Greeting visitors, answer phone, mail distribution and other duties as assigned. HIgh school diploma or equivalent. One (1) year clerical experience with the ability to type 30 wpm. Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft applications. Good organizational, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to meet physical demands of job.

  • Part-Time Adult Psychiatrist

    Part-Time Adult Psychiatrist for the Shelby area. Responsible for medical aspects of client care. Available 4 time a month/4-5 hours.  To medically evaluate clients to determine if the need for psycho-topical medications exists and to monitor the effects medications have upon the client.  To assist in clarifying diagnoses of clients to assure that the best possible combination of psychotherapy and drug therapy, if warranted, can occur.

  • Residential Life Specialist

    To provide supervision & life skills training to residential residents. HS/GED req., 2 yrs. exp. w/children & psychiatric exp. preferred.  Shift work. Valid AL drivers license with good driving record, reliable transportation, auto ins. w/bodily injury limits of 100/300 and the ability to meet minimum health standards requirements.  Meals included during working shift. The shifts needed are 3pm-11pm(4); 7am-3pm(1); Floaters for any shift needed(2).
