  • Therapist II Residential Campus

    Providing individual, group and family therapy to residents in the program; providing therapeutic community groups, process groups, and day treatment groups as assigned; providing liaison service for assigned families, residential program and outside agencies. LCSW/LPC a must. Experience working with teenagers in crisis, preferred. Ability to work a flexible schedule. Alabama Driver’s License and maintain agency insurability with good driving record.

  • Grant Writer

    Maintains grant information in agency database; meet or exceed deadlines for grant submissions; research potential opportunities for proposals and summarize information so that decisions can be made about selection; monitor the State DHR and DMH websites for new opportunities. BA/BS in communication, journalism or related education. Must have outstanding computer, verbal, research and writing skills. Established track record of having successfully funded grants required. 

  • Administrative Support Specialist (Shelby County Office)

    Clients will be scheduled as needed; error free revenue and expense reconciliations; accurate and timely billing; accurate and timely routine report completion; accurate and timely record reviews; prompt welcoming and assistance as needed to clients; prompt answering of phone calls and follow-up to messages and emails; anticipate and meet needs of staff. Ability to work late evenings twice a week. High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred; prior office experience required.

  • Clerk Typist TFC/STAR Services

    Processing foster parent billing in a timely manner; aftercare/follow up; filing & routine mail outs; greeting guests to the floor and ensuring their needs are met; providing support to foster parent trainer and recruiter as well as the licensing staff as needed; copying; maintaining lists on share drive; administrative record reviews. High school diploma, heavy computer experience with Microsoft Office Suite; familiar w/Outlook, at least two years clerical office experience.

  • Team Leader TFC/STAR Services

    Teach, train, coach FCS staff to work successfully with foster parents; teach, train, coach foster parents to work successfully with children; ensure timely documentation for foster parents and FCS staff; respond timely to emergency requests for assistance; back up FCS staff and supervise cases directly as needed. LGSW or LCSW with 2 years supervisory experience.  Able to problem solve, manage conflict, manage time, values diversity.  Calm under pressure, strong work ethic, enthusiastic and provides positive leadership during change. Flexible schedule and available to work normal business hours as needed to support foster parents.  Strong knowledge of the child welfare system, child development, family systems, child and adult mental health, family life cycle, and case management. Must have good driving record and maintain 100/300/100 auto insurance.

  • Family & Child Specialist TFC/STAR Services

    Teach, train, coach foster parents to work successfully with children; complete timely documentation within 7 days from service delivery; ensure accurate and timely documentation for foster parents; respond timely to emergency requests from foster parents and clients; back up foster parents as needed to ensure all needed resources are in place; teach, train, coach foster parents to prevent disruptions. LBSW, LGSW,  ALC or licensure eligible.  Able to problem solve, manage conflict, manage time, values diversity.  Calm under pressure, strong work ethic, enthusiastic and provides positive leadership during change.  Knowledge of child welfare system, ability to work as a team, flexible/non-traditional work schedule. Must maintain good driving record and 100/300/100 auto insurance.
