Providing financial counseling to clients, with focus on building self-esteem and financial competence. Helping clients gain accurate information to make sound financial decisions. Conducting, attending, and/or participating in speaking engagements in the community. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Social Work, Counseling or directly related field, preferred. 3+ years of experience in a credit and/or housing counseling work setting, in managing money/budgets, and/or in general counseling is required; with a strong interest in financial management/counseling. Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must. Experience in Word and Excel. Able to work a flexible schedule.
