Clerk Typist II (1) needed for the Alliance Program. Excellent office skills to include file management and data entry; excellent telephone etiquette and customer service skills, a must. HS diploma/GED required. Ability to type 50 wpm, 1year clerical experience, computer literate w/MS applications a plus & good organizational skill.

Support Positions

Youth Support Worker (1) needed for Huntsville ILP Program to help with conducting basic living skill groups, to identifying youth’s desires, skills, and encouraging their development to maintain placements and facilitate positive discharges from program. High school diploma or equivalent with one year relate experience or Associates degree in Social work, knowledge of community resources and ability to work in a collaborative role; ability to convey information and ideas verbally and in writing; proficiency with computers, valid Alabama driver’s license and driving record acceptable to agency’s insurers, automobile insurance as required by agency. Able to work a flexible schedule.

Family and Child Specialist (1) needed for the Alliance Program to provide case management services to clients. To provide family support services when reunification to the birth family is the permanency goal or to seek options for children without an identified permanency family resource. BSW w/6 months experience as an intern in child welfare, preferably, in out of home placement. Good written and verbal communication skills. Proficient with computers. Ability to lift a minimum of 20 lbs, restrain 100 lbs and drive for extensive periods. Ability to work a flexible schedule, perform CPR, First Aid and MCS as required. Alabama driver’s license, good driving record and automobile insurance to meet agency standards.

Special Education Teacher (1) needed for Rushton School with MA/MS in Special Education. Valid Alabama certification in Special Ed w/Emotional Disturbance Certification and at least three years teaching in Special Education setting/treatment facility. Advanced knowledge of IDEA 1997 regulations and special education. Good written and verbal communication. Proficient with computers. Ability to lift minimum of 20 lbs, restrain 100 lbs. Alabama driver’s license, good driving record and automobile to meet agency standards.

Residential Life Specialist (1) needed to provide supervision & life skills training to residents. HS/GED req., 2 yrs. exp. w/children preferred. Shift work. Valid AL drivers license, reliable transportation, and the ability to meet minimum health standards requirements.
