Family Counseling - Gateway provides specialized counseling services for children, adults, seniors, couples and more; and with the help of United Way, we are able to offer these services to individuals and families based upon their ability to pay for them.

Services include:

  • Comprehensive counseling for families, individuals and children.
  • Specialized support groups.
  • Critical incident debriefing – specialized help for people or groups exposed to trauma, natural disasters, suicide and other critical incidents.
  • Employee Assistance Program - We can carefully craft programs designed to help employees cope with a variety of workplace issues including trauma, downsizing, layoffs, drug and alcohol problems, conflict resolution and more. Services can be delivered at Gateway facilities or on-site at the workplace.
  • The Shelby County office also offers Wraparound services to enable families to safely care for their children in their homes. Referrals for these services are provided by Shelby County Department of Human Resources.
