Nicole Clark has been with Gateway for over four years. She started at Gateway as a Family and Child Specialist and was promoted to Family and Child Specialist Supervisor. She was an intern at JCCEO Community Substance Abuse Program (CSAP) and the Tuscaloosa City Schools Board of Education and served as a group facilitator at CSAP and a School Social Worker at TCS.
When she was fresh out of grad school and ready to serve in the Social Work field, she completed numerous applications and was excited to hear that Gateway would take a chance on an inexperienced, fresh graduate student.
Nicole likes Gateway because it is a very family oriented organization; not only does Gateway help mend hurting families but the staff is family as well. Her most memorable Gateway moment was being stuck at the Southside building during the recent snow storm. Despite being stuck in the office, she says everyone pulled together our resources and made the best of it. The experience brought us closer together.
Ms. Clark loves Michael Jackson and loves to dance. And enjoys being silly at karaoke.
We are lucky to have Nicole Clark as part of the Gateway family!
