Trish Fox is our Therapeutic Foster Care’s Office Manager. On March 8th she celebrated 8 years with Gateway! Trish really enjoys handling all the day to day administrative aspects of the program as well as interacting on a daily basis with our foster parents and foster kids. The kids call Ms. Trish the “snack lady” and the foster parents call her their “lifeline” to Gateway. The staff members refer to her as “Momma Trish” as they come to her office to play in her “Zen Sand Box” or her old fashioned Slinkie or to nibble from the jar of M&Ms on her desk and melt their frustrations away. Regardless, most around the agency knows her as our “morale queen.” Trish believes that every employee in Gateway is a critical member of his or her respective team, values them as such and enjoys cheering and encouraging each and every person to their highest level of potential and success.
She has been married to husband, Nick, for over 21 years. They have a son, Devin who serves in the Army and is currently stationed in Grafenwohr, Germany and a daughter, Amanda, who is currently attending her freshman year at Jefferson State Community College. Trish loves travelling, especially to the beach! What beach? ANY BEACH!! Trish also enjoys time with her 3 four-legged babies—Ginne and Maggie, her two Bichon Frise’-s and Minkie her 16 year old cat! In addition, she enjoys spending time building and growing in her relationship with the Lord, spending time with her large extended family, movies, reading and date nights with her hubbie, trying new restaurants (all cuisines) and various different type shows featured all over town. Trish lives for Alabama Crimson Tide Football in the midst of being an avid fan of football in general. She also enjoys watching NASCAR and golf and some baseball.
